Arrive on your mat for this slow paced, deep stretch practice. Our guided meditation segment of this class is held in the first 15 minutes followed up by a meditative style of Yin yoga. This class takes all the aspects of a regular yin class and blends them with meditative themes to help you sink deep into your postures and release unwanted physical and emotional tension. Yin yoga poses are mostly seated postures with plenty of props, and are typically held from 1 to 5 minutes with the intention of applying moderate healthy ‘stress’ to the connective tissues of the body, such as tendons, fascia and ligaments. This practice aims to help you increase circulation and mobility in your joints, improving overall flexibility of body and mind. No experience necessary for either focus!
