I started working with Theresa after going through a major life change. I decided that a personal trainer was the wayto go. I initially planned to work with a personal trainer for about six months or so, and now I've been with Theresa for over 3 yrs.What can I say- my goal was to get in a two piece bathing suit again after having had two children and my most recent trip to the Caribbean included packing a two piece! Theresa got me there! I have never seen results like these from working out on my own! She is fantastic!

I made the “mistake” of mentioning my “inability” to run a marathon in front of Theresa. She immediately persuaded me to reconsider my belief. The next thing I knew, I was preparing for the Maine Marathon with the notion that I would quit the training process when my body gave out. Theresa met with me regularly and kept me focused on my goal. She encouraged me to structure my workout schedule realistically and to eat right. My body kept going. In October of 2004, I completed my first ever marathon! Theresa was there to celebrate with me at the finish. I could not have asked for a better coach! What’s an overweight, out of shape, middle- aged woman to do? When a friend of mine suggested that I meet Theresa I really wasn’t sure it would make a difference or that an “athletic trainer” would want to work with someone like me. I was VERY wrong about that. Theresa was never judgmental. Instead, she was very positive and developed a program, which was geared toward my level. She pushes me to work hard but never harder than what I can do. Theresa's Circuit class rocks!! To all those out there that need a structured exercise regime -- she's the one to go to. I've never been great about going to a gym to do cardio, lift weights etc. so the Circuit class was exactly what I needed. The class was like a mini boot camp, rotating from station to station. I decided to sign up for the class after my husband and I weren't having any luck conceiving. My doctor recommended I try to exercise more (she was being nice with the "more" part, I really hadn't done much for a while!!). Anyway, I was in the 6-week Circuit class and I was pregnant by the 6th week!!! The circuit class may not solve everyone's fertility issues but it will give them a fabulous workout and they'll have tons of fun doing it!!!

I had never worked with a personal trainer before working with Theresa. I did not realize how valuable this service is. I have always enjoyed working out but wasn’t maximizing my own ability or my time. I first started with Theresa with the expectation of learning good form and some new ways to strengthen my body. I thought I would do this for a couple of weeks and then get back into my own rhythm. What I have found is that I am working with Theresa approximately three times a week. I can’t believe the necessity of this service and the difference I am seeing n myself. I am learning how to open all areas of an exercise routine such as strength, agility, endurance and cardio. Theresa provides variety, personal understanding of the fitness world, and a fun, pleasant attitude that I always enjoy.

Theresa is wonderful to work with. She is positive, encouraging and upbeat. I am particularly impressed that she knows how to take you from where you are – regardless of your physical condition – and move you forward. Theresa provides a lot of variety in her sessions.
